The Dunas course is very special. I have played a couple of David McLay Kidd courses before (Bandon Dunes, the Castle course at St Andrews and Machrihanish Dunes), and am a fan of his work. The design and architecture is sublime. The welcome at the Club was excellent as were the practice facilities. The only reason I have scored the experience 9, rather than 10, was the not so great condition of many of the fairways - which is understandable as the grass is very new.
