As an organizer for events I had 24 players set to play this course and 10 players at Vale da Pinta in the middle of high season in prime and busiest time during the day for golf courses. Usually the check-in and sorting process with one group, let alone two, at most courses is a bit of a headache and I expected such with two groups at two different venues at the same time. It is times like this that one learns to respect and appreciate the professionalism of reception staff that know their job and are very proficient. Rebecca at reception had us sorted in minutes with check-in at both venues and buggies organized with the caddy master at Gramacho in a very painless manner. Very much appreciated. The caddy master immediately got to task and lined up our dozen buggies and got people set to play with no stress with a great personality and attitude which just puts all in a great frame of mind to get their golf day started. The course itself was in good condition considering the heavy playing pressure on the course in this busy time. A couple greens could use some care, but in general tee to green was in great shape. One can't forget to mention the staff on the terrace afterwards is very good as well. While Gramacho is not going to be mentioned with the elite courses on the Algarve, their staff is exceptional at their jobs and make for a wonderful day of golf.
