Hi Giang, ok I’m happy to share a buggy with you.
On 21 August Chez Carlos Golf Society had the pleasure of playing Laranjal Golf Course, and I sincerely mean, it was a pleasure. From my personal perspective, this is one of the most asthetic, best kept, and interesting 18 holes of golf I have played in Portugal. We had a larger than normal group as would be expected take part in our event at such a beautiful course and there was some good shots and some bad shots, but everyone was smiling at the end of their round. Some smiling more than others at the end of the day at our little social gathering back at Chez Carlos Restaurant with some extra dinheiro to pay for their refreshments were, John Gilchrist (35) taking first place on the day, Nick Coulson and Peter McMahon both scoring 34 points and Clive Davies with the best shot of the day in the group on hole #11 taking nearest the pin honours. Nick put up 20 points on the back nine to edge out Peter with 18 on the back for second place. Honourable mention also with 34 points overall was Philippe Blanchard but only 14 points on the back nine and out of contention for prizes. It was great to see so many back at Chez Carlos afterwards and witness the revelry and see a happy group having a good time. Philippe outdid himself putting out tapas and such to top off an excellent day for our Society. Looking forward to seeing you all at Palmares on 25 August.
