Please share buggy with Adriaan Erkelens
Hi Jim, Can you please arrange that Adriaan, Dick Martens and Ninian are in the same flight? You can put also Joe Egan or Dirk Verheaghe in our flight. Cheers and I see you on Wednesday
Interesting course, you definitely need a “sighter” here, as it can be tricky to work out where the greens are on some holes. A few marker posts would help as well. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were in good condition. The course is made up of “three” nines and I played 10-27 one day and 1-18 the next and for me the “links” nine are the toughest. The rough is very punishing, so expect to lose a few balls if you are wayward, especially off the tee. The starter(s) were very helpful, looking up the slope rating for me and giving me some guidance on the first tee as I’ve never played here before. No drinks buggy, which would have been nice given the temperature - not sure if this was due to COVID-19 restrictions? The new clubhouse is very nice, small pro shop/reception and the food looked good although we never ate there. Expect to pay golf club prices for beers etc staff are courteous and attentive. I’ve given it 8/10 as I would have liked a few more marker posts on the.course. Ps would recommend a buggy, we walked the first day - holes 10-27 and it was hard going in the heat, (I regularly play 3 times a week so was used to walking) so took a buggy the following day and it was a much more enjoyable experience!
