A bright day with a cool and sometimes strong breeze, made a fay for difficult scoring. Well done John Gibson for nearest the pin on the tricky 8th on the Olives (the island green - eat your heart out Quail Hollow). Nice to see Charles Buddery and Ron McClachlan back in the mix.
Pinheiros Altos have great facilities, with is free driving range, and normally is in good condition. Yesterday the fairways where not in their top condition, but the greens where true and fast. Good day out.As you said nice to have Ron and Charles joining us again.

I played Corks and Olives. The course was very quiet however there were a few walkers that slowed play down for us in a buggy. (I actually only played 16 holes). Greens were excellent, best I've experienced on this course which I play often. Bunkers also well maintained. Fairways had many bare(ish) patches which made for tight lies and so difficult to hit fairway woods Staff were very obliging.
