Another great Society day out. The course is undergoing annual maintenance and the greens have been tined and treated. However the course in general was in good shape and even the greens putted well. Congratulations to Pam for a fantastic 40 pts and securing 1st place. A special mention to Tom Taylor for a great 39 pts. Well done every one.
Salgados is a nice course, in very good condition, excellent greens. Bunkers sand (round grains) is not appropriate (ball plug deeply). Good practice chipping and putting facilities. But, lack driving range or proper hitting area to warm up on full shots (the mats at the hitting bay are in very poor condition).
