A beautiful day, but only 4 of us. We played 4 ball better ball match play. Alan and Jan beat Steve and Doug 2 and 1. Salgados course was in fantastic condition and I think the greens were probably the best we played all year. What a fantastic days golf. Steve and Doug paid for the drinks after.
Absolutely brilliant course, played late afternoon and the course was really busy which was worrying when we arrived but we needn't have worried, felt like we had all the time we needed to get round in a decent time, got stuck behind a two ball (we where a four ball) who didn't understand there own hitting distances and waited a ridiculous time before hitting there shots, but apart from that course was well looked after, some tricky doglegs and loads of water to lose a ball or six! But would definitely play again, everyone was really friendly, fairways where running true and greens where playing well considering the hot weather. Would like to see more signs on the course as some tee shots where a little hard to figure out where to play but these are minor things and didn't spoil what was a brilliant day playing golf, driving a buggy having a beer with friends and enjoying this course
