Easy book in process. Slight delay in in start because of early morning frost (20 degrees later in the day), but starter did a good job in getting schedule back on track. Course in excellent condition with good fast greens. Some really good risk and reward holes, a number of longish par 3s but fairways reasonably forgiving to make it good holiday golf. Silves is my favourite course of the three Pestana courses in the area. The others are Gramacho and Vale da Pinta, but while good they seem more manufactured and less natural than Silves. While there is nothing smart about the clubhouse, the staff are very friendly and it feels like a members club you'd find in some of the old Scottish clubs.
