Lovely course layout making it challenging on the majority of holes. Being part of the Pestana group I would have hoped the condition would have been at same standard as Vila Sol but it isn’t that’s not to say it was bad just a bit more grooming and watering would further enhance it and bring it up to that standard. Wonderful signature hole 12th. Pretty good par 3 13th where one in our 4 ball managed a hole in 1. I’ve read about the nearby factory billowing out smoke which it did today but it didn’t affect visibility and had a lovely burning wood smell which was a bonus. Lovely clubhouse and veranda . Well organised society game by Jim who no doubt can do it with his eyes shut but credit to him. Acid test would I play Silves again - yes without any hesitation.
