hi Gim hope you well, is there any chance you could fit me in to play val do lobo this wednsday?? please do let me know.
Would like to have a buggy for Sabine and me
On Wednesday 11 August our golf adventure took us to Vale do Lobo Royal and it was an excellent day for golf. That is not saying everyone played excellent golf, but how bad can it be on the golf course in the sunny Algarve. There were some great rounds played by a couple Chez Carlos members. Peter Collins beat out Philippe Pineau for first place, both scoring 40 points, Peter with the better back nine. Jim Gillis was 3rd with 35, Gregory Butler 4th with 34 and John Gibson 5th with 33. For the second time in a row at Vale do Lobo Royal, hole #16 defeated all players by not giving up a nearest the pin. Fortunately, it didn't appear any beach goers were mortally wounded. That makes 36 straight (or not so straight) efforts without anyone making the green. I'm sorry people but seriously. No excuses this time as the wind was not a major factor. We will do this again until someone gets it right and claims the title to great fanfare. Hope everyone had a great day and see you at Salgados on Saturday.
-**- The service is always so pleasant, the people are welcoming and very nice. As for the pitch, if you decide to go and play at Vale Do Lobo, I would say to play the Ocean pitch. Since, the field is in better condition than the Royal. The Royal is currently drier and some parts are a bit damaged.
