Compared to the Ocean course, the Royal is better in all respects. Paths, fairways, greens are all in good condition. We did find the pace of play slow being 2:20 for the outward 9, but 2:40 for the back nine. We only saw one course Marshall who did not appear to be either concerned or doing anything to assist. Overall an enjoyable round on a challenging course.
