Review:
Great to play at Penina again today. Bottom scores paid piri-piri lunch for top scores, but David Bowles paid for the lot in honour of Carlos' birthday. Thanks David.

The staff at Penina both on arrival and in the bar were not very welcoming, particularly the bar staff. The caddie master was very welcoming though. The course itself is a great layout and a good test. However, it is obvious from the condition of the course that it is in need of some maintenance. The rough is very patchy and some of the fairways were damaged and quite dry in places. Some of the greens even had weeds growing on them which meant that they did not run well. The bunkers though had plenty of sand in them so you could splash the ball out.
